Let’s meet you.

Artiste:

I go by the name F-klin.

Gist Conner

F-klin? Is that your real name? And where’s F-klin from?

Artiste:

No! My real name is Franklin Colar and I’m from Ogba, Onelga, Rivers state. Usomini Kingdom precisely.

Gist Conner:

How did you come about the name F-klin?

Artiste:

I got the name f-klin from my real name franklin “f” for frank, then “klin” so put together you get “Franklin”.

Gist Conner:

We’ve heard about your new single I Testify, please tell us about it.

 Artiste:

I got the inspiration for this song in a dream. When I found myself somewhere outside Nigeria, while in that dream, I had a vision of the song and was told the song was already making wave in that country I found myself in the dream. So quickly I got up and started picturing the song; Of course when I got the exact picture I saw in my dream, I took my sermon note and carefully picked out words that best match what I wanted. The song I Testify is a rhema from God to those going through one challenge or the other. Christ has made you all that you ever want to be, and has given you all that you require to live a supernatural life here on earth. If you know who you are and what you have in Christ, you’ll live a continuous life of testimony. Testify of God’s goodness and faithfulness in your in life. Guess what? The only way to keep what God has given you is to talk about it. I testify I’m holy and righteous, bold and courageous, I’m healthy and wealthy…that’s the way to have extraordinary victories to your credit.

 

Gist Conner:

We heard you were in a dance group? Most people don’t know you dance. Tell us about it.

Artiste:

Yea! I dance…I was once in a dance group, as a matter of fact I even had a dance academy but my first dance group ever was a combination of youngsters…I had some great people there…it will even surprise you to know that Charity Dikeh, now Tonto Dikeh was part of that group too, though I knew her from a distance. Hahahahaha… I still can vividly remember the day she got a prophecy from God admonishing us to name the crew FRIENDS due to the fact that we were more like a family. Though the crew was latter called JAH-WORD, after which, I joined the VEESEEBLE CREW then led by the now CEO of SwagTv International, Omojesu. That’s a long time anyway…hahahaha. I still dance a little…though contemporary.

Gist Conner:

Let’s talk about Charity Dikeh. Is her name Tonto or Charity Dikeh? What can you say about that?

Artiste:

When I met her, I knew her as Charity Dikeh, but I called her sister Charity. I got to know her as Tonto when she got into the spot light…though even now I still sometimes refer to her as Charity, but I’m cool with Tonto, I like the originality…hahahaha

Gist Conner:

Where do you get your inspiration?

Artiste:

My inspiration comes from God. I basically get my songs and lines from dreams, life itself, and when I’m taking  a long walk…also in the bathroom, I get inspiration.
